                                     Lakebed Flying Site Condition Report

This page will only be updated when the lake bed condition changes.

Current Lake Bed Condition as of:

January 28, 2012

THE FIELD IS OPEN!

The lake bed runway is accessible, via the the main access road.

The runway is fine, however one must be extra careful getting out there.
The access road to the field is a little soft so please don't drive in the ruts - drive to the right or left of center.

Please avoid any unnecessary driving on the lakebed, and stay south of the extended centerline of the orange cones.

THE FLYING FIELD IS OPEN!

     General Notes:

While you're at the flying site, please keep in mind that we only have one lakebed location to fly from so PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE IN THE PITS!! Driving in the pits only breaks up the surface and makes it harder on our engines. So please keep your cars on the south side of the pit marker cones.  Traffic cones separate the parking area from the pits. Do not cross this line with any vehicle!!
